Job Title: Independent Sales Agent (Contractor)

Job Description:
Flint Hydrostatics, Inc., the world’s largest hydrostatic equipment remanufacturer, is seeking full time Sales Representatives to provide a broad base of hydrostatic products for growing businesses.

Flint Hydrostatics currently remanufactures Sauer-Sundstrand®, Eaton®, and Dynapower® hydrostatic pumps and motors as well as the Caterpillar® Forklift transmission. Flint also repairs and returns Rexroth®, Linde®, Volvo®, Kawasaki®, Kayaba® and Uchida® and is positioning itself to develop some of these brands into their remanufacturing program.

After training to a high level of understanding of our products and services, the Independent Contractor will demonstrate the value of these products and services to expanding hydraulic related businesses and markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Duties include managing an assigned territory from a virtual office, discovering and growing revenue opportunities and meeting sales objectives by providing customers with an excellent understanding of how these products can make their businesses more profitable.

  • On site visitation is required to understand customers’ businesses and needs.

  • Problem resolution, customer satisfaction and lead follow up while developing positive business relationships make this business to business sales position both challenging and rewarding.

Requirements:

  • Two years demonstrated quota based sales management and territory management skills in the hydraulic industry necessary.

  • Equivalent experience in closely related industry would be considered.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet use.
