| Remanufacturing Operation
Receiving: Upon delivery, all customer core returns are inspected, sorted and credits processed immediately. Purchased and internally manufactured parts, sub assemblies and units are verified for accuracy, counted and added to inventory in a real time environment.
Teardown: Cores are completely disassembled and all external components (housings, front covers, end caps, etc.) thermally cleaned. Sub assemblies are further reduced to component parts before cleaning begins. Internal wear parts are manually washed before the inspection process takes place.
Inspection: All components are inspected using a variety of instruments and visual methods to ensure accurate qualification. Every component part is pre-certified for the next process.
Lapping: Plates, cylinder blocks, pistons, shaft seals, slippers and end caps are lapped to remove all wear marks and ensure flatness of surface. The end cap flange is also milled in this area to guarantee a smooth flat surface. Once the lapping process is completed, all
parts are cleaned using an ultra sonic cleaning system. The final phase in this process is inspection to verify that these processed parts are within OEM specification.
Sub Assembly: Final assembly of all control valves, charge pumps, rotating groups, shaft seals and manifold blocks are reassembled in this area.
Neutral Set: Swashplates are assembled and the neutral preset within the pump housing and stocked as a final assembly component.
Assembly/Job Shop: Final assembly of all units to the customer or inventory requirements. |
